How Do I Find Submitted Book Proposals?

Clicking on the ‘Proposals Dashboard’ button in the top menu will provide access to all information relating to active proposals. Only users with Book Editor or Press Editor will have this button displayed.

The proposal dashboard comprises of a table listing all active proposals that have been submitted but not yet had an editorial decision to accept or reject them. This table will display the proposal:

• ID number
• Proposed book title and subtitle
• The submitting author/editor
• Submission date
• Assigned Editor (if applicable)
• Status

Each of the columns in the table can be filtered in ascending or descending order by clicking on their title.

The table can also be filtered to only show proposals that are assigned to the user by clicking the ‘Assigned to me’ button.

The proposal dashboard also provides an ‘Overview’ button. This allows the editor to view current proposals, along with historic accepted and rejected proposals. Each proposal project will include the title and author data, along with the status of the proposal. Clicking on the project ‘card’ will display the full proposal details. This page is also available via the drop down user menu in the top right of the navigation.
