How Do I Submit a Book Proposal?
To submit a book proposal, a user must complete the below steps:
(note: some publishers will accept proposals away from the online platform and only accept full submissions)
- Log into the online platform
- Click the ‘Submit’ button in the left hand column of the author dashboard
Click ‘Proposal’ from the drop down menu:
- Complete all required sections of the proposal form (this will normally include information such as: author details, contact details, book summary & outline, intended audience, comparison to existing books, estimated word count, submission date, required services etc)
- When the form is complete, click the ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the page
- When submitted an email will be sent to the user of the account confirming that the proposal submission has been received
Once we have received your proposal we will acknowledge receipt and get back to you within 2-3 working days to discuss the proposal details and the review process. If you would like to prepare your proposal offline or prefer to send it by email, please send it to editorial@ubiquitypress.com and use our offline proposal form (Word file). Please complete all information on the form, or provide detail why it cannot be provide, so that we are able to fully assess your proposal.
